Read-a-thon / Draw-a-thon

The March 17th Read-a-thon was a great success. Thank you to Eppie Archuleta and her family for joining the celebration and signing copies of the book, Eppie Archuleta and the Tale of Juan de la Burra. These signed copies are available at the Library for purchase. Thank you to all who joined us as readers or artists and to everyone who participated  by sponsoring a reader. Our Read-a-thon/ Draw-a-thon hand-bound books from previous years at on display at the Library.

Homework Doctors

Homework doctors are in this month. Mimi Hurd is at the Library between 3-5pm on Mondays and Thursdays. She is willing to help with research projects, reading, writing and any other homework needs. David Fant is available for math on Sundays. Students of all ages are welcome.

Thank You

Thank you to Analinda Dunning for doing a marvelous job updating Facebook for the Library. You can join us on Facebook by looking for Pueblo De Abiquiu Library. Thank you also to Louie Martinez for his fine donation of Time-Life books – Old West Collection, Great Cities, Voyage through the Universe, Newsweek, and Great Museums of the World. These books are now available for checkout. Thank you to Ramay for donating a new lock for our entry door.

             Abiquiu Walking Tours

You can now reserve a place for our Abiquiu Walking Tours, Saturdays or Sundays, by calling the Library @ 685-4884. Local docents lead visitors on a history tour of our Genizaro village each weekend through November.
